Each academic year goes from March through February. 

Professors work from February through December.

The winter break falls in July and lasts two weeks.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment takes place in two periods. A first period is December, prior to the coming academic year.

A second period is February of the current academic year.

INTRODUCTORY COURSE

Classes start at the beginning of February and end in March. 

Final examinations for Introductory Course subjects are usually given at the end of March. 

ENROLLING FOR A SUBJECT

Enrollment for year-long subjects and first-term subjects is open in March and April.  

Enrollment for second-term subjects takes place in July and August.

BEGINNING OF CLASSES

Classes for second to fifth years begin at the end of March.

Classes for first years begin in April, after a short break between the Introductory Course and the start of first year. 

Second-term subjects begin in August.

TERMS

The first term ends at the beginning of July.

The second term finishes at the end of October.

FINAL EXAMS

February/March: two sessions

May: one session (exclusively available to fourth and fifth years)

July: one session

September: one session (exclusively available to fourth and fifth years)

November/December: two sessions
